The GLORIOUS Model D- is an amazing ultra-light gaming mouse with an ergonomic shape that's very comfortable to use for those with small hands. It's smaller and lighter than the GLORIOUS Model D but offers the same features. It has a very wide CPI range that you can adjust in fairly small steps, and there's minimal CPI variation. It feels fairly well-built, but the body flexes easily and the side buttons feel mushy. However, the PFTE feet and the cable are both outstanding, making it very easy to glide around on your desk. The dedicated software allows you to reprogram any button and set RGB customization, but it's only available on Windows.

Our Verdict

N/A Office/Multimedia

The GLORIOUS Model D Minus is okay for office use. It's very comfortable to use and it's designed for those with small hands using the claw or palm grip. You can also reprogram any of its buttons. It feels fairly well-built, but the side buttons feel mushy and aren't as clicky as some other mice.

Pros
  • Designed for small or medium-sized hands with palm or claw grip.
  • Any button can be reprogrammed.
Cons
  • May be too small for larger hands.
  • Side buttons feel mushy.
N/A Video Games (FPS)

The GLORIOUS Model D Minus is excellent for FPS video games. It's very light and the outstanding cable and the virgin-grade PFTE feet help it glide around smoothly. It also has low click latency and a wide CPI range. However, its build quality is only decent and the side buttons feel mushy.

Pros
  • Designed for small or medium-sized hands with palm or claw grip.
  • Low click latency.
  • Glides around smoothly.
  • Very lightweight.
Cons
  • May be too small for larger hands.
  • Side buttons feel mushy.
N/A Video Games (MMO)

The GLORIOUS Model D Minus is decent for MMO gaming. It's very comfortable and has low click latency. However, its two side buttons may not be enough for most MMO gamers. It also has a wide CPI range and a high maximum polling rate.

Pros
  • Designed for small or medium-sized hands with palm or claw grip.
  • Any button can be reprogrammed.
  • Low click latency.
Cons
  • May be too small for larger hands.
  • Side buttons feel mushy.
  • Only two side buttons.
N/A Ultra-Light Gaming

The GLORIOUS D Minus is amazing for ultra-light gaming. It's much lighter than the GLORIOUS Model D, has outstanding feet, and the cable doesn't result in any drag. It's also very comfortable to use, especially for those with small hands.

Pros
  • Designed for small or medium-sized hands with palm or claw grip.
  • Low click latency.
  • Glides around smoothly.
  • Very lightweight.
Cons
  • May be too small for larger hands.
  • Side buttons feel mushy.
N/A Travel

The GLORIOUS Model D Minus is bad for travel. It's light but it may be too bulky to carry around in some laptop cases because of its wire. It feels fairly well-built, but the body flexes a bit. It's a comfortable mouse to use and works best with small hands using claw or palm grip.

Pros
  • Designed for small or medium-sized hands with palm or claw grip.
Cons
  • May be too small for larger hands.
  • Side buttons feel mushy.
  • Wired-only design too bulky for travel.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

We tested the GLORIOUS Model D Minus, which is a smaller variant of the GLORIOUS Model D. You can either get it in white or black, with your choice of a glossy or matte finish. You can see the label of our matte black unit here.

Compared To Other Mice

The GLORIOUS D Minus is a smaller and lighter version of the GLORIOUS Model D with nearly the same performance but is better suited for those with small hands. It's amazing for ultra-light gaming thanks to its lightweight design, but it doesn't feel as well-built as some other mice, such as the GLORIOUS Model O Minus.

See our recommendations for the best gaming mice, the best FPS gaming mice, and the best wired mice.

GLORIOUS Model D

The GLORIOUS Model D- is slightly better for ultra-light gaming than the GLORIOUS Model D because it's lighter. The Minus is smaller and better suited for those with small hands, while the Model D is aimed at those with larger hands. Besides that, both mice have the same performance.

GLORIOUS Model I

The GLORIOUS Model D- and the GLORIOUS Model I are lightweight, wired-only gaming mice. Both mice have a right-handed slant, but the Model I has more buttons on its left side, while the Model D- is slightly smaller so it's better suited for smaller hands. However, the Model I feels much more solidly built than the Model D-.

GLORIOUS Model O

The GLORIOUS Model O and the GLORIOUS Model D- are very similar mice. The Model O is better for office use because it feels better-built. However, the Minus is better for ultra-light gaming because it's lighter and has lower click latency.

Razer Viper Mini

The Razer Viper Mini is better overall than the GLORIOUS Model D-. The Razer feels much better-built, has lower click latency, more programmable buttons, and is suitable for small hands using the fingertip grip. However, the GLORIOUS is better-suited for medium or large-sized hands, and it has a better cable.

GLORIOUS Model O-

The GLORIOUS Model D- is slightly better for ultra-light gaming than the GLORIOUS Model O-. The D- has a more comfortable, ergonomic shape and has slightly lower click latency. However, the O- feels better-built, has a lower lift-off distance, and less CPI variation.

G-Wolves Hati HT-M Classic Edition

The GLORIOUS Model D- is a better ultra-light gaming mouse than the G-Wolves Hati HT-M Classic Edition. The GLORIOUS is lighter, suitable for small hands using the claw grip, has lower click latency, and glides around better. However, the G-Wolves has a lower lift-off distance and a wider CPI range.
