The Keychron M1 Wireless is a wireless gaming mouse with a symmetrical shape and ambidextrous design with a pair of side buttons on either side. It has rounded, pill-shaped cutouts in the body's top, sides, and bottom to reduce its overall weight. This mouse is a wireless version of the Keychron M1, and the two mice look identical. However, the M1 Wireless uses PixArt's newer flagship sensor, the PAW 3395. This mouse also includes a variety of USB-C and USB-A accessories, ensuring you can use this mouse wired or wirelessly regardless of your computer's ports.

Our Verdict

N/A Work

While not specifically designed for this use, the Keychron M1 Wireless is adequate for work. It connects wirelessly with its USB receiver or via Bluetooth, so you don't have to worry about cables cluttering your desk. It also has a decent number of buttons you can program, including a pair of buttons on either side. Unfortunately, while the build quality is good overall, the mouse makes noticeable creaking noises during everyday use. Also, the mouse wheel lacks L/R tilt inputs and a free-scrolling mode.

Pros
  • Ambidextrous design with two side buttons on either side.
  • Connects wirelessly with a USB receiver or via Bluetooth.
Cons
  • Minor creaking and rattling sounds when using the mouse normally.
  • Scroll wheel lacks L/R tilt inputs and a free-scrolling mode.
N/A Video Games (FPS)

The Keychron M1 Wireless is great for FPS gaming. It has superb click latency and excellent all-around sensor performance. While it's reasonably lightweight, it's considerably heavier than many dedicated FPS gaming mice. Additionally, while the build quality is generally good, the feet don't glide as smoothly as those on more expensive gaming options. Also, the body has a bit of flexibility, and the mouse makes noticeable creaking noises during regular use.

Pros
  • Superb click latency.
  • Excellent overall sensor performance.
  • Ambidextrous design with two side buttons on either side.
Cons
  • Minor creaking and rattling sounds when using the mouse normally.
  • Not as lightweight as many dedicated FPS gaming mice.
N/A Video Games (MMO)

Altogether, the Keychron M1 Wireless is good for MMO gaming. However, it has fewer side buttons than a dedicated MMO gaming mouse. Also, while the build quality is generally good, the body has some flexibility, and the mouse makes noticeable creaking sounds. It has superb click latency and excellent all-around sensor performance, delivering a responsive-feeling in-game experience.

Pros
  • Superb click latency.
  • Excellent overall sensor performance.
  • Ambidextrous design with two side buttons on either side.
Cons
  • Minor creaking and rattling sounds when using the mouse normally.
  • Not as many side buttons as a dedicated MMO gaming mouse.
N/A Raw Performance

The Keychron M1 Wireless has superb raw gaming performance with very low click latency and excellent sensor accuracy and motion latency performance. Altogether, this mouse provides a highly responsive-feeling experience that's more than adequate for gaming in any genre.

Pros
  • Superb click latency.
  • Excellent overall sensor performance.
Cons
  • N/A Work
  • N/A Video Games (FPS)
  • N/A Video Games (MMO)
  • N/A Raw Performance

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

The Keychron M1 Wireless mouse is available in Black or White colorways. We bought and tested the Black color option. Typically we provide an image of the mouse label, but there isn't one visible on this mouse.

A wired version of this mouse, the Keychron M1, is also available.

Compared To Other Mice

The Keychron M1 Wireless is a wireless version of the Keychron M1. The two mice look identical, but the M1 Wireless uses a significantly better sensor. Keychron advertises this as a lightweight gaming mouse, and it has small cutouts in its body to reduce its overall weight. However, despite these cutouts, this mouse weighs the same as the Keychron M3, which has a solid plastic body. While the M1 Wireless has fairly good build quality compared to other options at this price point, there's some flexibility in the body, and it makes minor creaking noises when using it normally. That said, an additional feature that sets this mouse apart is its included compatibility accessories. It comes with alternate adapters and receivers in the box so that you can use this mouse wired or wirelessly regardless of whether your computer has USB-C or USB-A ports.

Keychron M1

The Keychron M1 and the Keychron M1 Wireless are gaming mice in the same lineup. The M1 is a wired-only model that's marginally lighter. On the other hand, the M1 Wireless is a wireless model that connects via a USB receiver or Bluetooth. The M1 Wireless also has a better sensor and delivers significantly better gaming performance.

Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED

The Keychron M1 Wireless and the Logitech G305 are wireless gaming mice. The Keychron is lighter and has somewhat better click latency. It also has two side buttons on either side and small pill-shaped cutouts in its body to reduce its overall weight. On the other hand, the Logitech only has a pair of side buttons on the left, but it feels sturdier and has a solid plastic shell. The Logitech also uses AA batteries, while the Keychron recharges with a USB cable.

Build Quality

The Keychron M1 Wireless mouse has good build quality overall. However, there's slight flexibility in the palm area and the underside if you apply enough pressure. You can also actuate the side buttons by squeezing forcefully into the sides of the mouse, although this isn't an issue when using the mouse normally.

That said, there's a slight rattling sound if you shake the mouse. Even when using the mouse normally, the mouse makes small but noticeable creaking sounds.

Fingertip Grip Hand Recommendation

This mouse has a symmetrical, fully ambidextrous design with two side buttons on either side. This shape is a comfortable fit for most hand sizes and suitable for all grip types. However, the side buttons are located more toward the front of the mouse compared to many other gaming mice, which tend to have them more toward the center. If you have smaller hands, you'll have more difficulty reaching the side buttons when holding the mouse with a claw or fingertip grip.

This mouse has a 600 mAh battery that Keychron advertises can deliver up to 70 hours with the RGB lighting off. While it isn't mentioned explicitly on the product page for this mouse, we expect this to be the maximum battery life for continuous use while connected via USB receiver

Often, manufacturers will indicate separate maximum battery life for Bluetooth, which consumes less power than a USB receiver. However, Keychron hasn't listed a separate value for Bluetooth battery life on its product page. If you have this mouse and want to share your experience with its battery life, feel free to reach out to us in the discussions.
