The Nixeus REVEL Fit is a good, cheap gaming mouse with the same distinct shape as the Logitech MX518. It has a solid-feeling plastic build, with rubberized sides and a thumb rest on the left. Its right-handed shape is suitable for most hand sizes using any grip type. It has a wide CPI range, with a set CPI that you can adjust in increments of 100. While its lift-off distance and click latency aren't as low as on some other models, they're still very good for a mouse in its price range. You can reprogram all of its buttons, including the scroll wheel up/down inputs. Unfortunately, its rubber cable isn't very flexible, and it's very grippy and might catch onto things on your desk. Also, it's heavy, which may be disappointing for fans of lightweight mice.
Our Verdict
The Nixeus REVEL Fit is okay for office use, but it lacks many features usually seen on dedicated office mice, like free scrolling, L/R tilt buttons, a thumb wheel, and wireless connectivity. That said, you can reprogram all of the buttons it does have using the customization software available on Windows. All of its default buttons work on macOS as well, but since the software isn't available, you can't remap them or set macros. However, it does have onboard memory, letting you carry over your settings and profiles from one computer to another.

The Nixeus REVEL Fit is inadequate for travel. It's a wired mouse, so its cable may be cumbersome in tight spaces like a train, bus, or plane. It's best suited for an at-home gaming setup since you can't remove its cable or use it wirelessly.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

Compared To Other Mice
The Nixeus REVEL Fit is a good wired gaming mouse if you're looking for a cheap option. It performs fairly well compared to other models in this price range, with a wider CPI range and a consistent sensor. While its click latency and lift-off distance aren't as low as some more premium models, it's in line with other inexpensive mice. Appearance-wise, it has the same distinct shape as the Logitech G MX815 Legendary. However, its mouse feet don't glide as smoothly, and you can't adjust its CPI as precisely.

The Logitech G MX518 Legendary and the Nixeus Revel Fit share the same unique right-handed shape. The Logitech has a wider CPI range, a set CPI that you can adjust more precisely, and a more consistent sensor. It also has more programmable buttons, including two on the front and back of the scroll wheel, and you can assign a G-Shift button for a second layer of programming. On the other hand, the Nixeus has RGB lighting, which the Logitech lacks.
The Razer Viper Mini is a better wired gaming mouse than the Nixeus Revel Fit. The Razer has a much lighter weight, sturdier-feeling build, a more flexible cable, and smoother-gliding mouse feet. Also, it has much lower click latency, and you can also set a HyperShift button to give you a second layer of controls for as long as you hold it. On the other hand, the Nixeus has a wider CPI range, and it's better suited for larger hands with a palm or claw grip.
The Razer Viper 8KHz performs better overall than the Nixeus REVEL Fit. The Razer has a lighter weight, a better build quality, a more flexible cable, and much smoother–gliding feet. Performance-wise, it has a wider CPI range, a more precisely adjustable CPI, a much lower lift-off distance, and significantly lower click latency. It has a maximum polling rate of 8000Hz that should make the cursor movements feel smoother and more fluid than the Nixeus' 1000Hz polling rate, but we don't currently test this.
The GLORIOUS Model D is an excellent ultra-light gaming mouse, while the Nixeus Revel Fit is a good FPS gaming mouse. The GLORIOUS has a lighter weight thanks to its honeycomb design, a more flexible cable, and smoother-gliding mouse feet. Also, it has a somewhat lower click latency. On the other hand, the Nixeus feels better built, and it has more programmable buttons and a lower minimum CPI.
The SteelSeries Rival 500 and the Nixeus Revel Fit are wired gaming mice, but the SteelSeries performs better overall. It's an excellent choice for MMO/MOBA games due to its eight more programmable buttons than the Nixeus, including four extra side buttons. Also, it has a wider CPI range and a lower lift-off distance. On the other hand, the Nixeus accommodates more hand sizes, and it's much lighter than the SteelSeries, although it's still considered heavy.
The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury is a better wired gaming mouse than the Nixeus Revel Fit. The Logitech has a sturdier-feeling build, smoother-gliding mouse feet, and more programmable buttons. Also, it has a more precisely adjustable CPI, a slightly more consistent sensor, and much lower latency. On the other hand, the Nixeus has a wider CPI range, and its shape accommodates smaller hand sizes more than the Logitech's.
Test Results
