The Redragon M913 Impact Elite is an excellent wireless MMO gaming mouse. It feels well built and has a right-handed shape with a 12-button panel and a thumb, ring, and pinky rest. You can connect it wired with its cable or wirelessly with its USB receiver. It has a wide CPI range, a CPI you can adjust by increments of 100, and a very low lift-off distance. You can also change sensor, lighting, and button mapping and set five CPI settings and two profiles using the companion software. Unfortunately, the software is only compatible with Windows. It's a very heavy mouse, has high click latency, and while it doesn't suffer from much CPI variation, the sensor is inaccurate and undershoots the set CPI considerably during fast and slow cursor movements.

Our Verdict

N/A Office/Multimedia

The Redragon M913 is good for office and multimedia work. It has an exceptional number of buttons, almost all of which you can program using the customization software. It feels well-built and has a comfortable, right-handed shape well suited for medium and large-sized hands using palm or claw grip. You can connect it either wired or wirelessly with its USB receiver. Unfortunately, it doesn't support Bluetooth, and the customization software is only compatible with Windows.

Pros
  • Feels well-built.
  • Fully programmable 12-button side panel.
  • Companion software offers plenty of customization options.
Cons
  • No Bluetooth support.
N/A Video Games (FPS)

The Redragon M913 is mediocre for FPS gaming as it's very heavy and has high click latency. Nevertheless, it feels well built and has a comfortable right-handed shape well-suited for medium and large-sized hands using a palm or claw grip or extra-large hands using a fingertip grip. It has a wide CPI range, a CPI you can adjust by increments of 100, and a very low lift-off distance. Unfortunately, the sensor on our unit is also inaccurate and undershoots the set CPI considerably during both fast and slow cursor movements.

Pros
  • Feels well-built.
  • Companion software offers plenty of customization options.
Cons
  • Heavy.
  • High click latency.
N/A Video Games (MMO)

It feels well-made and has a comfortable right-handed shape well-suited for medium and large-sized hands using a palm or claw grip. It has a wide CPI range, a CPI you can adjust by increments of 100, and a very low lift-off distance. Pros
  • Feels well-built.
  • Fully programmable 12-button side panel.
  • Companion software offers plenty of customization options.
Cons
  • High click latency.
N/A Ultra-Light Gaming

The Redragon M913 is inadequate for ultra-light gaming as it's much heavier than a dedicated ultra-light gaming mouse and has high click latency. Nevertheless, it has a sturdy-feeling build quality, a right-handed shape well-suited for medium and large-sized hands using a palm or claw grip, and mouse feet that glide smoothly on all surfaces.

Pros
  • Feels well-built.
Cons
  • Heavy.
  • High click latency.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

The Redragon M913 Impact Elite wireless gaming mouse we tested is black, and there are no other color variants. The Redragon M908 is very similar to this mouse, but it's a wired-only model. You can see the label of our unit here.

Compared To Other Mice

The Redragon M913 Impact Elite is an excellent wireless MMO gaming mouse. It has a full 12-button side panel, which we've come to expect of dedicated MMO gaming mice. It also has a few extra features that are rarely seen even on more premium models, including a USB-C charging cable, CPI indicator lighting, and thumb, ring, and pinky finger rests. This mouse is a great choice f you're looking for a budget wireless MMO option. However, its somewhat unusual shape and size make it unsuitable for certain hand sizes and grip types, and it has high click latency.

For other options, see our picks for the best wireless mouse, the best wireless gaming mouse, and the best MMO mouse.

Redragon M908

The Redragon M913 Impact Elite is a wireless version of the Redragon M908. The M913 connects wirelessly with its USB receiver and has a compartment for storing it when not in use. It also has a wider CPI range, a more consistent sensor, and a lower lift-off distance. On the other hand, the Redragon M908 is a wired-only model with lower click latency. It also has a set of eight 2.5g weights you can add to the mouse, which the M913 Impact Elite lacks. Both mice are well-suited for medium and large-sized hands using a palm or claw grip or extra-large hands using a fingertip grip.

Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED

The Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED is a good wireless mouse for many uses, while the Redragon M913 Impact Elite is an excellent mouse for MMO gaming. The Logitech is much lighter and has an ambidextrous, egg-shaped body with two side buttons on the left. It connects wirelessly with its USB receiver. It also has a more precisely adjustable CPI, much lower click latency, and software compatible with Windows and macOS. Comparatively, the Redragon has a right-handed shape with a thumb, pinky, and ring finger rest. It connects either wired or wirelessly with its USB receiver and has a 12-button side panel.

Razer Naga Pro

The Razer Naga Pro is a better wireless MMO gaming mouse than the Redragon M913 Impact Elite. It's lighter and feels sturdier. It has a more flexible charging cable, mouse feet that glide more smoothly, a wider CPI range, a more precisely adjustable CPI, and much lower click latency. It also has multiple modular side panels for different game genres, including a 12-button panel. It has Bluetooth support, which the Redragon lacks, but unfortunately, it has a very high CPI variation. Comparatively, the Redragon has resting surfaces for your thumb, ring finger, and pinky, while the Razer only has a ring finger/pinky rest.

UtechSmart VENUS Pro

The Redragon M913 Impact Elite is a very similar wireless gaming mouse compared to the UtechSmart VENUS Pro. Both mice are nearly the same size and visually very similar, but the Redragon is wider and has a pinky rest. It also has better wireless click latency. However, its click latency is still very high for a gaming mouse. Additionally, it has software that allows you to configure more than one profile, a feature the UtechSmart lacks. Both mice are well-suited for medium or large-sized hands using palm or claw grip or extra-large hands using a fingertip grip.

Logitech G600 MMO Gaming

The Logitech G600 MMO Gaming and the Redragon M913 Impact Elite are excellent MMO gaming mice. The Logitech is a wired-only model that feels sturdier. It has a more precisely adjustable CPI, a much lower click latency, and customization software compatible with Windows and macOS. You can also set a G-shift button to enable a secondary layer of commands. Comparatively, the Redragon connects wired or wirelessly with its USB receiver, and it has a wider CPI range. It also has a thumb, ring, and pinky rest, which the Logitech lacks. Unfortunately, its software is only compatible with Windows, though it does have onboard memory.

GLORIOUS Model D

The GLORIOUS Model D is an excellent ultra-light gaming mouse, while the Redragon M913 Impact Elite is an excellent MMO gaming mouse. The GLORIOUS is a wired-only model. It has two side buttons and is much lighter.  It also has mouse feet that glide more smoothly and much lower click latency. On the other hand, the Redragon feels sturdier and connects wirelessly with its USB receiver. It has many more programmable buttons, including a 12-button side panel. It also has a wider CPI range and a lower lift-off distance.

The Redragon M913 Impact Elite has a sleek gamer aesthetic, and its body has a mix of black soft-touch and glossy black plastic surfaces. It has RGB zones in the scroll wheel, in and around the logo on the palm area, and in the 12-button keypad on the left side. There's also a strip of LED lights alongside the two CPI buttons behind the scroll wheel, which displays which one of the five CPI profiles you are currently using.

Build Quality

The Redragon M913 Impact Elite wireless gaming mouse feels well-built. There's no flex in the body when you apply pressure and no rattling when you shake the mouse. The left and right-click buttons also provide good physical feedback, but there's a fair amount of wobble in the scroll wheel. Also, the wheel on the unit we tested rubs against the left side of its housing when sideways pressure is applied.
