The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is a wireless ultra-lightweight gaming mouse that feels well-built and is very light. Its body is perforated with weight-saving heart and diamond-shaped cutouts, and it has two side buttons on the left. Its ambidextrous shape is suitable for all grip types and nearly all hand sizes. However, it's slightly too small for extra-large hands using a palm or claw grip and too large for small hands using a fingertip grip. It connects wirelessly with its USB receiver, but you can also use it while connected with its charging cable. Performance-wise, it has impressive click latency, a very low lift-off distance, and you can adjust the CPI by increments of 50 within a broad range.

Our Verdict

N/A Office/Multimedia

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is very good for office and multimedia work. It feels well-built and has a comfortable, ambidextrous shape. It connects wirelessly with its USB receiver, or you can use it with its charging cable. You can reprogram all of the buttons on the top of the mouse using the customization software. Unfortunately, there's no Bluetooth connection option, and the software is only compatible with Windows. Also, the scroll wheel lacks L/R tilt buttons and doesn't have a free-scrolling mode.

Pros
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Comfortable, ambidextrous shape.
  • Connects wirelessly with its USB receiver.
Cons
  • No Bluetooth connection option.
  • Scroll wheel lacks L/R tilt inputs and has no free-scrolling mode.
N/A Video Games (FPS)

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is excellent for FPS gaming. It has great click latency, feels very well-built, and has an ambidextrous shape suitable for all grip types and most hand sizes. However, it's slightly too small for extra-large hands using a palm or claw grip and too large for small hands using a fingertip grip. It also has mouse feet that glide very smoothly and, despite being a wireless mouse, a surprisingly good quality paracord-like charging cable. Performance-wise, it has a very low lift-off distance, and you can precisely adjust the CPI by increments of 50 within a broad range.

Pros
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Very lightweight.
  • Comfortable, ambidextrous shape.
Cons
  • Isn't suitable for all hand sizes and grip types.
N/A Video Games (MMO)

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is decent for MMO gaming, but it doesn't have nearly as many side buttons as a dedicated MMO gaming mouse. That said, you can reprogram all the buttons on the top of the mouse using the customization software. It feels well-built and has a comfortable, ambidextrous shape suitable for all grip sizes and most hand sizes. It also has impressive click latency, a very low lift-off distance, and you can adjust the CPI by increments of 50 within a broad range.

Pros
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Comfortable, ambidextrous shape.
Cons
  • Not nearly as many side buttons as a dedicated MMO gaming mouse.
N/A Ultra-Light Gaming

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is an excellent ultra-lightweight gaming mouse. It has great click latency, feels very well-built, and has an ambidextrous shape suitable for all grip types and most hand sizes. However, it isn't ideal for extra-large hands using a palm or claw grip or for small hands using a fingertip grip. It also has mouse feet that glide very smoothly and a surprisingly high-quality paracord-like cable for a wireless mouse. Its lift-off distance is also very low, and you can precisely adjust the CPI by increments of 50 within a broad range.

Pros
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Very lightweight.
  • Comfortable, ambidextrous shape.
Cons
  • Isn't suitable for all hand sizes and grip types.
N/A Travel

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is a great travel mouse, but it's bulky and may not fit in most laptop cases. Nevertheless, it connects wirelessly with its USB receiver and feels very well-built. Its ambidextrous shape is suitable for all grip types and most hand sizes. It also has onboard memory for custom settings and a storage compartment within the mouse for the USB receiver when it's not in use. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a Bluetooth connection option.

Pros
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Comfortable, ambidextrous shape.
  • Connects wirelessly with its USB receiver.
Cons
  • Bulky; may not fit in most laptop cases.
  • No Bluetooth connection option.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa we tested is the Cream Matcha color variant. There are other colors available, including a Blue, Pink, and Metallic Red variant. You can see the label for our unit here.

Compared To Other Mice

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa is an excellent ultra-lightweight gaming mouse with a perforated outer shell design. Its shape is similar to the Finalmouse Ultralight 2 - Cape Town, though the Vancer is somewhat larger. Rather than the more commonplace honeycomb-shaped cutouts found on the Ultralight 2 - Cape Town and other mice with honeycomb shell designs, the cutouts in the Vancer's body are heart and diamond-shaped.

Lighting Color Locked

The Vancer BT.L Gretxa has one small RGB zone under the CPI switch behind the scroll wheel that isn't customizable and serves primarily as an indicator light. It displays a constant color that changes according to the battery level. When you cycle between CPI settings, it flashes a custom color three times to indicate which setting you've selected. There is a button on the bottom to toggle this lighting on or off.

Update 12/08/2021: We updated the firmware for the Vancer BT.L Gretxa to version 3370_20210812 which added a debounce time setting in the software. We set this debounce setting to its lowest value (4ms) and retested the latency multiple times to ensure consistency. Doing this yielded much lower click latencies than our previous results (21.5ms over its wireless receiver connection and 20ms wired.) Given the new results, we've updated our score for this section from 7.1 to 8.3.
