Compared To Other Vacuums
The Roborock H6 cordless stick vacuum has an all-plastic design that's similar to many Dyson stick vacuums. As with many Dyson vacuums, it has washable filters and virtually no recurring costs. It's also lightweight and maneuverable. However, it only has three power settings, and its 'Standard' one is ineffective at cleaning bulky material like cereal.

The Roborock H6 Adapt and Roborock H7 are fairly similar in design, though there are a few differences. The H6 weighs a little bit less and has a floorhead with a removable brushroll. While the Shark is worse at picking up fine debris from high-pile carpets, it's better overall on bare floors and low-pile carpets. The Shark also has a larger dirt compartment and is easier to maneuver. The Roborock, however, has a slightly better battery life, comes with more tools and brushes, and has fewer recurring costs.
The Roborock H6 Adapt and Wyze Cordless Vacuum are fairly evenly matched vacuums, though one may suit you better than the other, depending on your exact needs. The Roborock has a longer battery life, a carpet detection feature, more tools and accessories, including an extension hose, and struggles much less with bulky material like cereal on bare floors. Conversely, the Wyze has fewer parts that need to be cleaned regularly as well as a bigger dustbin. It also performs better on high-pile carpet.
Test Results
The Roborock H6 cordless stick vacuum feels fairly well-built. It has an all-plastic construction with an overall design that looks similar to Dyson stick vacuums like the Dyson V8. There's an LED screen that shows you the vacuum's remaining battery life, suction power, and more. The vacuum feels quite sturdy, though the connection points for the brushroll and the wand could feel more secure. The clear plastic dirt compartment looks a little fragile, though it feels more solid than most plastic dirt compartments.
The Roborock H6 cordless stick vacuum is acceptably easy to maintain. It has several parts that need regular maintenance, though they're easy to access and clean.
- Dirt compartment: You can empty the dirt compartment by releasing the emptying latch to unload its contents. You can also detach it from the main body to clean it. The dirt compartment should be washed once a month.
- Cyclone: You can remove the cyclone after detaching the dirt compartment. It should be rinsed with cold water once a month.
- Top filter: The top filter is located on top of the cyclone and should be rinsed once a month with cold water.
- Post-motor filter: The post-motor filter is easily removed by rotating it to unlock and detach it from the top of the vacuum. It should be rinsed with cold water every two months.
- Brushroll: Unlike the newer Roborock H7, the brushroll in this vacuum's floorhead can be removed and cleaned as needed.
- Charging contact: Should be wiped with cloth once a month.
You must air dry any part that's washed with water for at least 24 hours before using it again.
The Roborock H6 has virtually no recurring costs as long as its parts are well-maintained. Roborock doesn't even sell replacement parts on its website, though you can find some on third-party websites if you need them.

The Roborock H6 is a cordless stick vacuum, so its range is only limited by its remaining battery life and the room left in its dirt compartment. It comes with a 'Flex Tube' hose attachment you can use in its handheld configuration, which unfortunately is short.

It includes an LED display that shows you exactly what battery percentage is left, so you know when to charge it.
The Roborock H6 has a few quality-of-life features, including an LED screen that shows you the vacuum's remaining runtime while operating, remaining battery percentage while in standby, and which power mode is activated. The three power modes are 'Eco', 'Standard', and 'MAX', which you can adjust by pressing the mode button. It also has a feature called 'Auto Carpet Boost', which is enabled when you attach the brushroll. This feature automatically switches the power mode to 'MAX' when it detects a carpet. Unfortunately, there's no way to disable it, so it can drain the battery more quickly if you have a lot of carpet.

This vacuum delivers remarkable performance on high-pile carpet. It clears pet hair and large debris like sand without issue and does a great job cleaning smaller debris like baking soda.
The Roborock H6 has good maneuverability. It's easy to navigate around furniture and cables with it. It's also lightweight and easy to lift if needed. The tools and attachments come in handy when cleaning furniture or hard-to-reach areas, and it's fairly easy to crouch down and clean underneath tables or couches. However, you do have to stoop down quite low to be able to clean these areas. The brushroll can also get stuck on rugs or carpets, particularly when pulling the vacuum backward. The vacuum automatically enters into 'MAX' power when cleaning rug tassels due to the 'Auto Carpet Boost' feature, and though we were able to clean tassels fine, the vacuum also showed this error message.
