The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed to look like a torch light. It has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, though we don't currently test for this, and it can also be attached to a pole and ground stake using the threaded hole underneath. You can even pair it with another TikiTunes speaker via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, its materials don't feel very premium, and its uneven, muddy sound profile lacks a lot of low-bass.
Our Verdict
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes is disappointing for music. It has an uneven sound profile that muddies vocals and lead instruments while pushing them towards the back of the mix. Sibilants like S and T sounds are alternately piercing and dull, and it struggles to reproduce a thumpy low-bass. Unfortunately, there isn't any way to customize its sound profile more to your liking. It has to downmix stereo content into mono to play it, and it doesn't get very loud.

The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes is poor for videos and movies. Due to its uneven sound profile, dialogue is muddy and pushed towards the back of the mix. It struggles to reproduce low-bass, too, so you don't feel the deep rumbles in action-packed scenes. Its high latency with iOS and Android devices isn't ideal for videos, though some apps compensate for latency differently, so your real-world experience may vary.

The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes is acceptable for outdoor use. It's portable and lightweight. Also, it has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, though we don't currently test for this. It also lasts for sixteen hours off of a single charge, which is suitable for long days outside. That said, it doesn't get very loud, and its plastic build doesn't feel very durable. Also, its uneven sound profile is lacking a lot of low-bass.

Compared To Other Speakers
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes is a budget-friendly portable Bluetooth speaker with a unique torch light design. It's intended for outdoor use, and it even has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, though we don't currently test for this. The Pohopa EF-B210G Speakers are better than the Limitless Innovations TikiTunes. They are two speakers that can be paired with each other, with LED lights that alternate to the beat of your music. They have a slightly better-balanced sound profile and can get louder than the TikiTunes. However, the TikiTunes speaker has better directivity, so audio sounds clear from most angles, making it better suited for those who enjoy listening to podcasts.
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes is a slightly better speaker than the Theater Solutions B83GR. The TikiTunes has a significantly better battery performance and is more portable. However, the B83GR can get louder than the TikiTunes. That said, both speakers are designed to blend nicely with the outdoors, the TikiTunes is designed to look like torch light and the B83GR is designed to look like a rock.
The Alpine Corporation Solar Bluetooth Rock Speaker is slightly better for outdoor use than the Limitless Innovations TikiTunes. The Alpine Corporation gets louder with less compression at max volume, has a longer battery life, and supports multi-device pairing. Some listeners may prefer its rock-like design, which comes with a built-in solar panel, while others may prefer the torch light style of the TikiTunes. The TikiTunes is also smaller and more portable, and its 360-degree design offers better directivity for its soundstage.
The Anker Soundcore Motion+ is a better overall speaker than the Limitless Innovations TikiTunes. The Anker can play stereo content without downmixing it to mono, and it has a more balanced sound profile out-of-the-box. Thanks to its graphic EQ and presets, it offers more sound customization features, and it also supports voice assistants from your paired smartphone. Test Results
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes has a very unique design that makes the speaker look like a torch light. The amber light inside mimics a flickering flame. It has an oval shape, and it's meant to sit vertically. If you're looking for speakers with a similar design, check out the Pohopa EF-B210G speakers.
This speaker has an incredibly portable design. It's small and lightweight, making it easy to carry with one hand. Also, since it's battery-powered, you can use it when you're on-the-go.
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes has a decent build quality. It doesn't look very premium, and its plastic materials don't feel very solid or durable. On the upside, it has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, though we don't test for this. There's also a threaded hole underneath so you can attach it to a pole and ground stake for outdoor use.
This speaker's controls are adequate. Buttons on the top let you adjust the volume, play/pause your audio, turn the speaker on/off, and activate the ambient light. You can skip to the next song by pressing the "+" button once or skip back to the previous track by pressing "-" twice. The power button can also be used to pair two TikiTunes speakers together via Bluetooth. While there's some audible feedback for Bluetooth pairing, there isn't any way to monitor the volume level.
Note: Even though the manual claims there's an audible beep once you reach max volume, this didn't happen with our unit in our tests.

The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes has poor frequency response accuracy. It's lacking a lot of low-bass, so you don't feel the deep thump, punch, or rumble in your audio. The rest of its range is quite uneven, so vocals and lead instruments are alternately muddy and distant, and sibilants like cymbals are piercing or dull. Unfortunately, there aren't any sound customization features available to help you tweak its sound more to your liking.
This speaker has a decent soundstage performance. It has excellent directivity, so your audio sounds clear from most angles. It has to downmix stereo content into mono to play it, which doesn't sound as immersive.
This speaker has a mediocre dynamics performance. It doesn't get very loud, which can be disappointing if you want to use it at a crowded party. Fortunately, there isn't a lot of compression when you play it at max volume, resulting in clear and pure audio reproduction. For an outdoor speaker that gets louder, consider the Alpine Corporation Solar Bluetooth Rock Speaker instead.
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes has an okay battery performance. Though it's advertised to last for just six hours, in our tests, it lasted for over sixteen hours off of a single charge. Unfortunately, there isn't a power-saving feature that automatically shuts it off after some time of inactivity, so you need to turn it off yourself to conserve its battery life.
Note: We conduct our battery tests for speakers at 80db. However, even at max volume, this speaker didn't reach 80db. We tested it at its max volume instead.
This speaker can't be used wired. It comes with a micro-USB cable, but that's just for charging the speaker.
The Limitless Innovations TikiTunes' Bluetooth connectivity is alright. It has a superb range, so it can play audio from your paired device even if it isn't very close to the speaker. However, its latency with iOS and Android devices is likely too high to be suitable for watching videos. That said, some apps compensate for latency differently, so your experience may vary. If you're looking for an outdoor speaker that has better latency performance and Bluetooth range, consider the Theater Solutions B83GR instead.
